The quilts of Rebecca Cynamon-Murphy will be on display at the Wheaton Public Library from mid-November to Mid-December. Like monks making mandalas and holy women keeping bees, she contributes to world peace by making art. The result are quilts made of colorful prints, upcycled clothing, vintage embroidery, and thrifted fabrics. Because of the unique process, the quilts become autobiographical and reflective of the current world that needs both healing and celebration.
